TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours, evenings
  • Employment Type: Travel

Shift: Noon-2030

Unit: OR Day Surgery Center

Experience Required: 3 years experience; will accept first time traveler if candidate has more than 3 years exp prior to traveling, manager approval req. 

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Skills Required: Pre-op and Phase II experience, IR pre/post background preferred (will not be in IR procedures), IV starts, assist with blocks, prefer GI pre/post experience

Floating: GI for pre/post only; no intraprocedural

Patient Types:

Few peds patients, mostly adults. Will be doing pre-op and Phase II recovery, no Phase I.

Pre/Post op patients, female and male surgical patients, ortho, urology, hysterectomy, IR, imaging, urology, and tubal ligation

Scheduling: 

Weekend rotation: none

On call? none

Holiday Expectations: closed for day of major holidays; open for eves of holidays and day after holidays
