Job description

Role Summary

Our Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurses (Registered Nurse) are responsible for the operation of the ambulatory surgical center and provide direct patient care. The Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurses demonstrate care and compassion to our patients while seamlessly walking them through their treatment experience.

Some day-to-day job duties include

  • Admits, treats and discharges patients
  • Monitors and assess patients during pre- and post-operations
  • Provides pre and post-operative instructions and communicates results to patients
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment
Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in New York
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ACLS Certified
  • Experience in outpatient surgery centers or operating rooms
Employment Type

This is a full-time (40 hours a week/8 hours per day) non-exempt position with rotational weekends and holidaysThis position requires early hours. 

Compensation

The starting salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
