What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Director, Counterparty Credit Risk - Exposure Monitoring (CCREM) group, the incumbent will support Counterparty Credit Risk portfolio analytics and reporting, with a focus on derivatives.

What will you do?

1. Participate in risk reporting processes and ad-hoc projects to investigate trends or counterparties of interest.

2. Assist in the development of CCR's data visualization tool which is used for reporting and analysis.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

1. Knowledge of market risk and derivative credit risk.
2. Self-motivated individual with a high level of analytical capabilities and attention to detail
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
4. Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines

6. Good command of Excel, VBA programming and SQL
7. Self-starter with excellent communication skills

Please note:This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2027 Student placement with a start date of January 2027, and end date of April 2027. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2027 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
