Job description

Position contingent upon contract award with an anticipated start date of September 2026.Lead Environmental Compliance Across Multiple Programs Supporting the U.S. Space ForceHL Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Media Manager to provide technical leadership and quality oversight for a comprehensive environmental services contract supporting Patrick Space Force Base and associated installations.This designated Key Personnel position provides cross-media leadership for environmental compliance programs including hazardous waste, hazardous materials, air quality, water quality, stormwater, petroleum management, environmental sampling, Environmental Management Systems, and regulatory reporting.What You'll Do· Provide technical oversight for multiple environmental compliance programs.· Coordinate environmental media leads across all program areas.· Ensure technical consistency and quality of contract deliverables.· Review reports, plans, permit documentation, and regulatory submissions.· Oversee environmental data management, validation, and quality assurance.· Support Environmental Management System implementation and audits.· Coordinate compliance assessments and regulatory inspections.· Generate environmental compliance reports using Department of the Air Force systems.· Assist with environmental data migration and management.· Provide technical guidance to Government personnel and contract staff.· Ensure compliance with federal, state, Department of Defense, and Department of the Air Force environmental requirements.Minimum Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, or related technical discipline.· Minimum:o BS + 10 years of experienceo MS + 6 yearso PhD + 4 years· Demonstrated experience managing environmental compliance programs.· Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting.· Experience reviewing technical reports and regulatory documentation.· Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.Preferred Qualifications· Experience supporting Air Force, Space Force, NASA, or other federal environmental programs.· Experience with EESOH-MIS or similar environmental management systems.· Experience supporting Environmental Management Systems (EMS).· Experience with QA/QC of technical deliverables.· Knowledge of environmental sampling, hazardous waste, air quality, water quality, and environmental reporting.Working Conditions· Full-time, on-site at Patrick Space Force Base.· Travel to supported installations as required.· Combination of office and field work.· Occasional after-hours support may be required based on mission needs.
