Position OverviewThis is an entry-level, hands-on internship designed for students interested in construction, engineering, or skilled trades. You'll work outdoors with a survey crew supporting real construction projects.
What You'll Do- Assist survey crews with layout and measurement on job sites
- Hold grade rods, prism poles, and measuring tools
- Help set stakes and markers for roads, utilities, and grading
- Learn to measure distances and elevations
- Support roadway, bridge, and utility construction projects
- Help maintain and transport survey equipment
What We're Looking For- High school students or recent graduates (must be at least 18 years old)
- Interest in construction or hands-on outdoor work
- Basic math skills (measurement, addition/subtraction)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation preferred
