Position: Embedded Software Engineer - Missile Systems
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
About the Role
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver embedded software solutions supporting advanced missile subsystem programs. In this role, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle-from requirements analysis and architecture design to implementation, integration, and support of flight test activities.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure reliable, high-performance embedded software that meets system and program objectives.
Responsibilities
Analyze system and software requirements and translate them into effective embedded software solutions
Design software architecture and detailed designs for embedded systems
Develop, implement, and maintain embedded software using modern C++
Deploy, debug, and integrate embedded software on target hardware platforms
Support system integration, verification, and flight test readiness activities
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including hardware, systems, and test engineers
Communicate technical concepts, design decisions, and progress clearly to stakeholders and leadership
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Professional experience in software engineering and embedded software development
Proficiency in C++ programming
Experience working with Embedded Linux environments
Hands-on experience deploying, debugging, and integrating embedded software on hardware platforms
