Activities in which you will be involved include: 

  • Perform manufacturing engineering and operational tasks in the foundry under the supervision of a metallurgist.
  • Support weekly casting events with the production team
  • Participate in foundry quality control functions such as chemical testing, mechanical testing, sand testing, and process improvement activities
  • Participate in cost reduction activities and operational improvements to satisfy customer needs.

Qualifications and experience:

Basic qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a college student
  • Basic knowledge of metal casting processes and foundry manufacturing.
  • Basic personal computer proficiency (word processing, internet, e-mail, electronic data retrieval).

  • Experience or education in metal casting, metallurgy, and chemical engineering
