Job description

Idaho National Laboratory invites students to express interest in internship opportunities for Fall 2026 - Summer 2027. These paid internships span various STEM fields, allowing students to work on real-world projects alongside experienced professionals. Interested candidates must submit an official application when positions become available. Candidates must be full-time students with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The purpose of this form is to express interest in INL internships. As specific internship opportunities become available, INL recruiters will use this information to notify students about applicable opportunities through the 2026/2027 intern season. To be considered for a project, an official application must be submitted directly to an internship job posting. Internship Opportunities

INL offers paid internship opportunities available in a wide range of STEM and other fields for both undergraduate and graduate students. INL internships include a nationally competitive wage. Eligible interns are provided holiday pay, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.

Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and the selected candidates will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on degree field and level of education.

Undergraduate Internships ($26.94/hour-$32.41/hour) / Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($35.34/hour-$37.73/hour) / PhD Internships Post Candidacy ($36.83/hour-$41.29/hour)
