SWJ Technologie specializes in providing engineering, planning, and project management services across a wide range of industries and has expanded its portfolio to provide safety systems for various industries. We are currently seeking two Interns for our Marketing & Sales division. PURPOSE: 
This internship offers hands-on exposure to project management, sales, and marketing activities. Interns will support active customer projects, contribute to performance tracking, and participate in customer acquisition initiatives. Successful interns may have the opportunity to continue working with SWJ Technology after graduation or receive strong career placement support. This internship includes a performance-based success bonus structure. Interns are rewarded for measurable contributions such as new customer acquisition, sales performance, and effective support of marketing and KPI reporting activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support project management teams with coordination and reporting
  • Create KPI overviews using Power BI, proprietary SWJ systems, and AI-supported tools
  • Assist with marketing content such as info pages and social media visuals
  • Support the creation of call and email lists for services and products
  • Perform cold calling and cold emailing to acquire new customers
  • Post social media ads to promote services, products and capabilities of the company

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently enrolled student or recent graduate in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in project management, sales, and customer interaction
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Basic analytical and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn new systems and tools

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Prior exposure to sales, cold calling, or customer service
  • Experience with Power BI, CRM tools, or data visualization

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Work is normally performed in an office, where minimal physical work might be included, but is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:
  • Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
  • Schedule: with flexible scheduling and partial remote work options
  • Assignment Start: May, length 3-4 3 months. Extension into part-time or full-time employment possible.
