As an Elementary Principal, you will cultivate a joyful, safe, and academically rigorous environment where our youngest learners thrive. You will lead a dedicated team of educators, foster strong family partnerships, and set the cultural tone for the entire school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Leadership: Champion early literacy, foundational numeracy, and evidence-based instructional practices tailored for elementary learners.
  • Culture & Community: Build a positive, inclusive, and trauma-informed school culture that celebrates diversity and supports social-emotional learning (SEL).
  • Talent Development: Mentor, coach, and retain high-quality elementary teachers and staff.
  • Strategic Operations: Oversee daily school operations, budgeting, and resource allocation aligned with student achievement goals.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in education administration and considerable administrative and educational experience.
  • Postgraduate Professional License with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision, PreK-12, or an equivalent level of education and experience.
  • A deep understanding of early childhood development and elementary curriculum standards.
  • Skill in effective communication, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other District employees and the general public.
  • Ability to motivate others to reach their fullest potential.
  • Ability to plan and supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to set expectations, build capacity, model learning, lead symbolically, manage effectively, and respond to constituent groups and the community.
