Sommaire du rôle

En tant que stagiaire au sein d’une équipe multidisciplinaire chez EXFO, vous participerez à différentes étapes du développement de différents logiciels liés au contrôle d’instruments optiques.

Responsabilités principales

  • Participer au développement de logiciels internes (preuves de concepts, démos, outils internes, etc);
  • Développement et maintien d’outils logiciels pour l’opération, l’étalonnage et la validation des produits ;
  • Mise en place de stratégies de validation des solutions logicielles développées ;
  • Toute autre tâche connexe à l’emploi;
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe au besoin.

Profil recherché

  • Étudiant(e) en génie logiciel, génie informatique, génie électrique ou formation équivalente ;
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (parlé et écrit) ;
  • Expérience ou intérêt pour le développement logiciel;
  • Aisance en programmation (Python, C#, C++, développement d’application) ;
  • Connaissance et expérience en électronique et en instrumentation optique (atout).

Role Summary

As an intern working within a multidisciplinary team at EXFO, you will contribute to various stages of the development of software related to the control of optical instruments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of internal software (proofs of concept, demos, internal tools, etc.);
  • Develop and maintain software tools used for product operation, calibration, and validation;
  • Develop and implement validation strategies for software solutions;
  • Perform other duties related to the position as required;
  • Carry out any other related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Student in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education;
  • Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
  • Experience or strong interest in software development;
  • Comfortable with programming languages and application development (Python, C#, C++);
  • Knowledge and experience in electronics and optical instrumentation are considered an asset.
