Are you an ambitious post-secondary student looking to make your mark beyond the classroom? Construct the foundation of your career with the J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI) Construction & Equipment Division. If you're looking for a position where you'll gain meaningful, hands-on industry experience as an Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Technician Student, we'd love to hear from you.
- Our positions range from 4 to 8 months, starting in winter 2027!
- You'll be based out of Saint John, New Brunswick
- Funding support for housing may be available for eligible candidates

From your first day, you'll be working on meaningful projects alongside experienced professionals. You'll also take part in student-focused events, tours, and learning experiences that expand your knowledge and connect you with other students across the company.

- An optimal work experience in all aspects of the Electrical and Instrumentation trades in a safety-conscientious environment
- Assist in the troubleshooting and programming in distributed controls (DCS) and programmable controls (PLC)
- Students will assist qualified tradespeople in their day-to-day activities
