About the Role
The Electrical Engineer supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a high-volume manufacturing facility. You'll design, support, and improve electrical and automation systems across production, packaging, and utilities while partnering closely with maintenance, operations, and safety teams. This role is ideal for hands-on engineers who enjoy troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and working in a collaborative plant environment.
What You'll Do
  • Design, maintain, and improve electrical systems for manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Support power distribution systems including MCCs, panels, switchgear, and transformers
  • Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime
  • Support PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and industrial networks
  • Assist with equipment startups, commissioning, and validation
  • Partner with OEMs, integrators, and contractors on automation and capital projects
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, GMP, and company safety standards
  • Participate in arc flash, LOTO, and electrical risk assessments
  • Lead or support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain electrical drawings, standards, and documentation
  • Train maintenance personnel on new systems and electrical best practices

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3-5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution and control systems
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and automation systems
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics and panel layouts
  • Experience with PLC platforms, VFDs, and servo controls
  • Programming experience with SQL, Python, or C++ is a plus
