Job Summary:
Saviance is seeking a Chief Software Architect to serve as the principal architect and strategic visionary for their core product platform. This highly technical, senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring product stability, driving the technical roadmap, and providing technical vision across the development organization.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and drive resolution of critical product bugs and system deficiencies to ensure a robust user experience.
• Establish and enforce standards for code quality, testing, and deployment to promote reliability and stability.
• Define and execute strategies to monitor, detect, and proactively address performance bottlenecks and system failures.
• Continuously improve system architecture and codebase to reduce technical debt and enhance long-term maintainability.
• Prioritize and oversee ongoing maintenance required to keep the platform efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• Drive best practices in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes.
• Champion automation in testing, monitoring, and deployment to reduce manual errors.
• Define, track, and continuously improve product stability KPIs (uptime, latency, error rates).
• Foster a culture of accountability and engineering excellence focused on high-performing systems.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve comprehensive technical documentation covering system architecture, infrastructure, source code structure, and core components.
• Document all customizations and integrations with partner or third-party systems.
• Own ongoing technical alignment with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updates and releases.
• Monitor Microsoft Business Central release cycles and ensure timely internal communication and readiness.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external communications related to Business Central updates.
• Regularly audit and update documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance as systems evolve.
• Serve as the SME across all aspects of product development, providing deep technical insight and direction.
• Act as the hands-on technical authority throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

• Establish best practices for software development, integration, and deployment within the Business Central ecosystem.
• Champion a forward-thinking engineering culture focused on scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
• Partner with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure strong security, compliance, and maintainability across the product stack.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of software development experience, with significant expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL development and extensions).
• Proven experience architecting complex, enterprise-grade applications.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central architecture, APIs, and deployment models (cloud and on-prem).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a senior role, owning both strategic and tactical outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
• Experience with Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices preferred.
