Job Title: Psychologist
Location: Napa, CA 94558

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Psychologist to join an interdisciplinary team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, determining eligibility for services, providing clinical consultation, and supporting case management teams with psychological and forensic matters. The Psychologist will also contribute to community education initiatives, special projects, and staff development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and determine eligibility for individuals suspected of having intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team consultations and provide clinical guidance to service coordination staff.
  • Review and assist with coding psychiatric and medical diagnoses.
  • Support staff with forensic and legal matters, including the preparation and review of court-related reports.
  • Assist in eligibility appeals and dispute resolution processes.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects and program development initiatives.
  • Provide community education and help develop enhanced clinical resources.
  • Supervise psychology interns or trainees when required.
  • Interpret and apply relevant regulations, policies, and eligibility criteria.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or Doctorate in Psychology required.

Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in psychological testing and diagnostic evaluation of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, or emotional disorders; OR
  • Equivalent clinical or case management experience in a related human services environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Licensed Psychologist.
