RoleSummary

The Process Analyst supports the definition and documentation of future-state business processes that underpin the delivery of FNZ's platform solutions for wealth management clients. The PA works closely with Solution Consultants, Functional Leads, QA teams, Business Readiness, and client SMEs to develop accurate, standards-compliant BPMN models that reflect approved requirements and enable downstream delivery activities.

This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on consuming requirements, interpreting functional intent, and producing clear and traceable process models that support testing, operational readiness, and solution implementation

KeyResponsibilities

Process Modelling & Analysis

  • Produce future-state business process models in BPMN 2.0 (Level 1 Descriptive), following established methodologies and modelling standards.

  • Interpret functional requirements, business rules, and TOM components to ensure process models accurately reflect expected behaviour.

  • Decompose end-to-end journeys into logical process steps and reusable sub-processes.

  • Ensure process models are complete, consistent, and ready for stakeholder review.

Traceability & Documentation

  • Maintain process-level traceability to Jira stories, system interactions, regulatory obligations, outputs, and procedures.

  • Track and manage clarifications, gaps, and follow-up items throughout modelling review cycles.

  • Support QA by ensuring the processes clearly articulate expected outcomes and scenarios.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Participate in process walkthroughs with internal teams and client SMEs to review, refine, and validate future-state processes.

  • Collaborate with Solution Consultants to confirm functional intent and clarify requirements where needed.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers to understand modelling timelines, deliverables, and priority focus areas.

  • Engage Business Readiness teams to ensure process artefacts support downstream operational preparation.

Continuous Learning & Team Contribution

  • Apply BPMN best practices and modelling standards to all process documentation.

  • Seek guidance and feedback fromSenior Process Analysts to enhance modelling skills and domain knowledge.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Process Analysis team

Experience& Skills Required

RequiredIndustry Knowledge

  • General investment/wealth/life and/orpensions productsand the markets in which FNZ and our customers operate.

  • FNZ Platformexperiencepreferred, including beingknowledgeable about1-2functional areas of the platform.

  • For the jurisdiction being hired for, anappreciationof the regulatory environment FNZ operates.

  • 3+ years of experience in a delivery/consulting environmentinfinancial services/wealth market.

  • 2-3 years of experience in business analysis or process modelling roles, ideally within financial services or wealth management.

  • Foundational understanding of Canadian wealth concepts and operational processes.

  • Familiarity with Canadian investmentproduct types (RRSP, TFSA, RIF, LIF, etc.) and industry service providers (exchanges, depositories, custodians).

  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments, using Jira/Confluence or similar tools

Required Knowledge &Skills

  • 1stclass degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience working within a business analysis / consulting role.

  • Experience within anenvironment of continuous improvement and capability development.

  • Confident, and able to take initiative given client- and delivery-focused environment.

  • Independent, self-directing and delivery focused working style.

  • Intermediate computer skills essential.

  • Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills,with attention to detail and completeness.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience facilitating stakeholder workshops.

  • Experience workingwith internal and externalclients.

  • Strong workingknowledge of BPMN 2.0 with at least2years of hands-on process modelling experience

  • Ability to interpret and translate requirements intoclear andaccurateprocess models.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a delivery-focused environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Canadian wealth products (RRSP, TFSA, RIF, LIF).

  • Knowledge of capital markets service providers and industry infrastructure.
