The Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) Production Team serves as an in-house creative agency responsible for developing and producing best-in-class digital content that brings Disney's iconic brands, franchises, and stories to audiences around the world.

We're looking for a talented Associate Preditor (Producer+Editor) to join our team. This hybrid Producer/Editor role is ideal for a creative storyteller who thrives throughout the entire content production process-from concept development and production through editing and final delivery. You'll create compelling digital-first content that supports theatrical releases, streaming platforms, television brands, social media, YouTube, Disney+, with a focus of producing/editing vertical assets from library content.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with marketers, creatives, producers, designers, creators, and cross-functional partners to develop engaging content for some of the world's most recognizable entertainment brands.

What You'll Do

Produce Engaging Digital Content

  • Produce and edit high-quality short-form and long-form content across Disney's Studio, Television, and Streaming brands.

  • Own projects throughout the production lifecycle-from creative ideation and planning through post-production and final delivery.

  • Edit content optimized for multiple digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Disney+.

  • Create polished deliverables by incorporating footage, music, graphics, sound design, and motion graphics.

  • Deliver quick-turn creative assets for premieres, conventions, live events, and breaking entertainment moments.

Drive Creative Storytelling

  • Partner with marketing, creative, and production teams to develop compelling content that aligns with campaign objectives.

  • Collaborate with Disney's Creator team and external creators to produce engaging creator-led content across a variety of formats.

  • Adapt creative concepts to meet the unique needs of different platforms and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.

  • Stay current on digital storytelling trends, creator content, audience behaviors, and platform best practices.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with producers, designers, editors, marketers, and creative leads to bring campaigns to life.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback and ensure projects remain aligned with creative objectives.

  • Use audience insights and performance data to help optimize future content strategies.

Support Production

  • Capture high-quality video in studio and on location.

  • Operate cameras, lighting, audio, and production equipment.

  • Assist with content production during live events, premieres, conventions, and special productions.

  • Maintain organized media assets and production workflows.

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across production/post/ and high-pressure events.

  • Technical knowledge of Mac systems, Adobe Suite, and editing plugins

  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new tech, workflows, and process quickly

  • Knowledge in video codecs, file containers, and deliverable specs

  • Experience in live event streaming and production a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience producing and editing digital video content (preferably 4+ years)

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder.

  • Demonstrated experience creating content for social media, YouTube, streaming, or digital platforms.

  • Strong storytelling and editorial skills with an understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and platform-specific best practices.

  • Experience editing multiple content formats across a variety of aspect ratios and distribution channels.

  • Knowledge of current digital trends, social media platforms, and creator-driven content.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience producing content for entertainment, media, streaming, or consumer brands.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale is $87,100 to $116,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
