ABOUT LEMBERG ELECTRIC
Lemberg Electric is a growing, 100% employee-owned electrical contractor based in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Our teams work on major
commercial, industrial, institutional, and entertainment projects throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and beyond.


Our projects have included the Milwaukee Public Museum, Harley-Davidson, Deer District buildings, Mayfair Mall, Milwaukee Tool
Downtown Corporate Headquarters, Children's Hospital, Foxconn, IKEA, and many others.


THE INTERNSHIP
Lemberg Electric is seeking a Construction Safety Intern to join our Safety team for Spring 2027, Summer 2027, or both. This is a
hands-on internship with exposure to safety practices across active electrical construction jobsites. You will work alongside experienced
Safety professionals and interact with project managers, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and customers.

You will begin by assisting our Safety team and, as your knowledge and experience develop, take on responsibilities more independently.
Students completing both spring and summer will have the opportunity to build a greater level of independence and responsibility over the
course of the internship.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
• Construction jobsite safety inspections and audits
• OSHA regulations and construction safety requirements
• Incident, accident, and near-miss investigations
• Hazard identification and corrective actions
• Employee safety orientations and training
• Toolbox Talks and safety communications
• PPE requirements and safety documentation
• Safety software, reporting, and recordkeeping
• Working with project managers, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and customers

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Assist with safety audits and inspections at construction jobsites and company facilities.
• Help identify hazardous conditions and recommend corrective measures.
• Assist with injury, incident, and near-miss investigations.
• Assist with safety training, testing, new-hire orientations, and PPE distribution.
• Help create and deliver weekly Toolbox Talks and other safety communications.
• Maintain safety documentation and assist with the company's online safety platform.
• Assist with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements.
• Research safety-related questions and help develop solutions to safety concerns.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Safety, Safety Management, Construction Safety, or
   another closely related safety field.
• Junior or senior standing preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable communicating with employees and speaking in front of groups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; Lemberg Electric is unable to provide visa sponsorship.

PREFERRED
OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Construction certification • Previous construction/jobsite experience • CPR/First Aid certification

JOBSITE & TRAVEL
This is a field-based internship with regular travel to Lemberg Electric jobsites. Interns may ride along with current Lemberg employees or
drive their personal vehicle when appropriate; approved business mileage in a personal vehicle will be reimbursed. The position involves
walking active jobsites, uneven surfaces, varying weather conditions, and required PPE.
