The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) at Saginaw Valley State University invites a diverse pool of applicants for an adjunct faculty position, for the Fall 2025 and/or Winter 2026 semester.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or ABD in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or Master's degree and relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate knowledge and experience in Python application programming, data organization, and mathematical operations and data manipulation. Experience using NumPy and advanced object-oriented programming features is also preferred.
About SVSU:
Saginaw Valley State University is a comprehensive university with more than 100 programs of study for its roughly 7,000 students. Located on a suburban campus in Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region, SVSU is committed to a supportive and empowering environment for students, faculty and staff. SVSU was recognized as a "Great College to Work For" for 9 consecutive years (2016-2024).
SVSU emphasizes undergraduate teaching and learning, and community-based research.
