Job description

Description Job DescriptionThe position will perform clerical duties in support of the Belgravia Plant, to include maintain computerized maintenance management systems; parts acquisition and data entry. Maintain storeroom inventory control and PM Work Order Management. In issues of Equipment Failure: Request inventory from another local facility for transfer. If no other facility has inventory to request, reach out for quotes on parts and expediting fees for approvals. Work closely with all levels in the maintenance department: Inventory Clerk I - (Daily) pass down shift duties Maintenance Supervisors (As needed) Research and follow-up requests Maintenance Leads (Daily/As needed) Assistance with parts or work orders All levels of Mechanics (Daily/As needed) Assistance with parts or work orders Work closely with maintenance parts and supply external vendors Essential Functions: Maintain computerized preventative maintenance management systems, data entry of PM, Work Orders, parts and labor. Establish, maintain and assemble PM/Rebuild bill of material parts (Kits) as scheduled. Schedule verification of completed kits and signoff if all parties approve. Create PM/Work Orders scheduling by printing DSC/Activity Logs, rescheduling incomplete PM/Work Orders and updating Work Orderstatus and start/finish dates as needed. Process approved purchase requisitions and accurately enters them into the system. Receive, stock and issue storeroom parts and chemicals as needed. All transactions to be verified for accuracy against the parts logs sheets. Research and expedite parts as requested. Follow up on open orders and research invoices pending processing. Maintain storeroom, parts receiving area and all areas of responsibility organized and uncluttered condition. Perform cycle counts as required to maintain accurate inventory Additional Functions: All duties as assigned Qualifications 1-2 Years experience in inventory control, preferably in a maintenance environment, required 1-2 Years of extensive computer experience required Purchasing knowledge highly beneficial Possess good phone and communication skills Possess strong organizational skills Possess basic mechanical knowledge Must be able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work off a ladder Must possess a valid California Drivers License and provide proof of automobile insurance. Must be able to function in a fast paced environment and be capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities Able to stand for prolong periods of time on a concrete/metal grate floor
