Job description

Lunds & Byerlys Maple Grove is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Inventory Control Specialist to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works an in person full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $24.50 - $29.13/hr.
We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pmFor this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 7:00am - 3:00pm.
INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Inventory Control Specialists are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:
  • Greeting and assisting customers and team members
  • Coordinating invoices and executing daily pricing activities
  • Monitoring cycle counting and correcting any discrepancies or errors that occurred throughout the data processing cycle
  • Counting item units, inspecting the quality of product and randomly selecting items to be more closely inspected
  • Receiving product and maintaining receiving hours and vendor access

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience
    1. 2 or more years previous retail or food service experience desired
    2. Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  2. Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    1. Service oriented with high energy and a friendly demeanor
    2. Proficiency in database maintenance, data entry, point of sale operations and 10-key
    3. Experience in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word. Access experience is a plus.
    4. Understanding the retail grocery business is desired.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/EQUIPMENT USED

    2. Point of Sale equipment (register & credit card terminals)
    3. Pallet jack
    4. Ability to use Zebra handheld for CAO, ParTech, and self-management
