Reese Law Group is looking for a Developer to provide technical support for computer and information technology systems, including but not limited to, operating, maintaining, backup, servicing, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and evaluating systems, hardware software and networks. integrating software solutions with existing IT infrastructure, ensuring compatibility, and optimizing performance. Developers also play a critical role in ensuring that web applications are functional, secure, and scalable, bridging the gap between user-facing interfaces and server-side infrastructure. This position directly impacts application performance, user experience, and overall system reliability.

Essential Job Functions

  • Understanding of servers, cybersecurity, code versioning tools and relevant CSS extensions
  • Working with databases, enterprise systems, and IT tools.
  • Ensuring system integration and interoperability.
  • Supporting IT operations, such as troubleshooting and maintaining applications.
  • Collaborating with IT team and management to align software with business processes.
  • Writing, testing, and maintaining server-side code and web services that implement business logic and application functionality
  • Write, debug and execute the source code of a software application
  • Analyze and understand the requirements and translate them into functional code
  • Designing, implementing, and managing databases to store and retrieve application data efficiently
  • Creating and maintaining APIs to enable communication between front-end, back-end, and external services
  • Configuring and managing server environments, including deployment, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with standards
  • Monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance to ensure uptime and reliability
  • Collaborating with IT Team, management, clients, and QA teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality applications

Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields
  • Certifications: Optional but beneficial certifications include ITIL, SAP, SFDC, UX, CPQ, or other relevant IT credentials
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages, database management, software development life cycle (SDLC), and system architecture
  • Soft Skills: Problem-solving, analytical thinking, teamwork, communication, and the ability to manage deadlines

Prior Experience

  • Prior experience with Vertican products and/or Collections Master software
  • Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
  • Experience with automation coding and database coding.
  • Preferred to have at least 3-5 years experience with coding.
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity
  • Core Proficiency in JavaScript (language syntax), Java, Python, SQL, LDAP
  • Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
  • Familiarity with programming languages API
