Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Video Editor to create high-quality visual content that supports brand storytelling, customer-focused marketing, and product-related communications. This role involves editing a wide range of video content, collaborating with internal stakeholders and production partners, and supporting video production activities when needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing (70%)
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for digital, marketing, and communications initiatives.
  • Manage post-production workflows, project files, media assets, and final deliverables.
  • Organize, catalog, and maintain video assets and footage libraries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content meets storytelling and business objectives.

Production Support (20%)
  • Assist with video productions in studio and field environments.
  • Support equipment setup, operation, and on-site production activities.
  • Work with professional camera systems and production gear as needed.

Studio Support (10%)
  • Assist with studio operations and production-related tasks.
  • Provide support for various multimedia projects and workflows.

Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of professional video editing experience.
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
    • Premiere Pro
    • After Effects
    • Photoshop and/or Illustrator
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Video codecs and file formats
    • Transcoding and export workflows
    • Digital asset management
  • Experience working with professional cinema camera systems such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic, or RED.
  • Working knowledge of video lighting, audio equipment, and production workflows.
  • Proficiency with Mac OS and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with audio editing and sound optimization.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to navigate uneven terrain while transporting equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience editing promotional, commercial, social media, and corporate video content.
  • Motion graphics and animation experience (2D and/or 3D).
  • Experience supporting large corporate brands and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industrial, construction, agricultural, forestry, or related environments.
  • Experience working in both studio and outdoor production settings.
  • Experience operating equipment in field environments is a plus.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Videography, Video Editing, Motion Graphics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of formal education.

  • Portfolio, demo reel, or work samples must be submitted with the application.
  • This position requires onsite work in East Moline, IL. Remote work is not available.
