Job description

Control Room Security Officer

Wage: $20.00-24.00/ hour 

Requires previous CCTV, alarm monitoring and dispatching

2-3 years data center security experience

2-3 years control room operator experience

Operators are responsible for initiating a response to incidents and documenting their actions accordingly.  Such incidents may include duress calls, power outages, medical emergencies, fire alarms, traveler assistance, employee terminations, inclement weather, terrorist activity, etc. These incidents will require the operator to interact with various high-level managers, security personnel, facility engineers and potentially law enforcement personnel.  Management reserves the right to assign additional project work and tasks to supplement core functions.

Security Officer/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

  • Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.

  • Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.

  • Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
