Intel is one of the world's leading semiconductor companies, driving innovation that shapes the future of technology. As Intel evolves into one of the world's most critical foundry services providers, we are building the factories, teams, and infrastructure that will power the next generation of computing. Our Oregon sites are at the heart of this transformation - and we're looking for talented individuals to help us get there.
Are you passionate about optimizing complex manufacturing environments and shaping the future of semiconductor fabrication? Intel's FCO Global Space Planning Organization is seeking a Strategic Layout Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic, internationally connected team. In this role, you will be a critical integration point between Strategic Planning, Construction, Tool Install Design, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering - helping to define how Intel's factories are built and equipped to meet long-term manufacturing objectives.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of Intel's foundry evolution, working on high-impact projects that directly influence how Intel's factories are designed, ramped, and optimized for future technology transitions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Installation Sequence Optimization: Optimize the installation sequence to support analysis and recommendations for future technology transition scenarios.
  • Equipment Installation Support: Assist in the equipment installation process by supporting Design Reviews and attending Field Walks as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact with Design, Construction, and Capacity groups during site build-out to ensure alignment with plans and resolve layout-related field issues.
  • Business Standards Development: Develop, follow, and improve business standards within the organization and drive standardization across multiple global sites.
  • Stakeholder Integration: Serve as the key integration point between Strategic Planning, Construction, Tool Install Design, Installation, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering teams throughout all stages of layout development.

As a Successful Candidate, You Will Bring:
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong tolerance for ambiguity and the skills to thrive in a team-oriented culture
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the skillsto summarize and present data effectively to diverse audiences
  • Proven skills to negotiate with and influence key stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, even in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Skills to manage shifting priorities while consistently meeting tight deadlines
  • An innovative thought process with a drive to continuously improve processes and outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and accountability within cross-functional teams
