THE ROLE

This is a full-time temporary role from September 2026 to December 2027. Supporting the Human Resources team for Live Nation Canada, this role will support in recruitment coordination, onboarding and offboarding, HR systems administration, employee communications, and day-to-day HR activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to gain broad exposure across multiple areas of Human Resources in a stimulating environment.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Coordinate recruitment administration, including creating requisitions, posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing offer letters.
  • Support the onboarding process by processing new hires in Workday (HRIS), coordinating orientation and first-day logistics, and managing IT onboarding requests.
  • Coordinate employee offboarding, including exit interviews, equipment returns, and employment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR trackers, including new hires, terminations, probation periods, contract end dates, work permits and employee service anniversaries.
  • Prepare and manage employment documentation and HR templates including offer letters, employment letters, salary increase letters, bonus communications, and contract extensions.
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to managers and employees, responding to inquiries and coordinating HR processes.
  • Communicate with employees; responding to routine HR inquiries, including employment verification requests, Workday support, and directing more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Manage recruitment initiatives for internships, seasonal hiring, and other designated roles.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, Lunch & Learns, and Vancouver Social Committee activities.
  • Assist with HR compliance by maintaining accurate records and supporting employment legislation and policy requirements.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve HR processes and deliver exceptional employee experience

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 2-3 years of Human Resources or administrative experience.
  • Experience using an HRIS; Workday experience is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Remain current with industry standards, legislative changes, and Human Resource best practices, ensuring Live Nation Canada remains compliant with labour laws.

The expected compensation for this position in Ontario is:$62,000 to $65,000

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
