Job description

Description
Postdoctoral position at NYU's physics department to work on machine learning and applications to Cosmology. Candidates are expected to carry out an active research program that can be independently directed and/or involve substantial collaboration with other members of NYU. In addition to their own research, candidates are expected to help build the rich scientific community on cosmology at NYU by: participating in seminars, colloquia, and group meetings; developing their software, mathematical, and computational expertise through internal educational opportunities; and sharing their knowledge through scientific publications, presentations, and/or software releases.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500.00 - $71,320.31. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
