Job Summary:
Decision Technologies, Inc. is a premier engineering and intelligence services provider focused on optimizing decision-making processes for the Department of Defense and Federal Government. They are seeking a Junior Computer Engineer to support technical and training teams by providing training and software support to U.S. Navy Sailors on the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System.
Responsibilities:
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development, software engineering, computer engineering, systems engineering, or related technical fields.
• Experience supporting software development, testing, integration, and maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and quality assurance practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a technical team.
Qualifications:
Required:

• Experience using Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, or IntelliJ.
• Exposure to relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices.
• Internship, co-op, military, or academic project experience related to software development or systems engineering.
• Interest in Navy combat systems, defense technologies, or military training systems.
