Victory Preparatory Academy Middle/High School, an academic award-winning school, is seeking a STEM Instructor to help develop and expand our computer science programming. Over the next five years, we are making significant investments in equipment, labs, and staff to strengthen our STEM curriculum, including computer coding, engineering, robotics, and a competitive Robotics Team.

About the Role:

Victory Preparatory Academy seeks an experienced STEM Instructor to join our computer science instructional team. This role includes:

  • Developing and delivering computer science, engineering, and robotics instruction across multiple grade levels
  • Building and coaching our competitive Robotics Team
  • Incorporating coding, robotics, and engineering concepts into hands-on learning experiences
  • Leading STEM enrichment programs, clubs, and competitions to engage students beyond the classroom
  • Creating a rigorous and structured academic environment focused on student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging STEM lessons that integrate coding, robotics, and engineering
  • Work with school leaders to develop and evaluate STEM initiatives
  • Lead and manage classroom dynamics effectively
  • Assess student progress through projects, quizzes, and exams
  • Maintain a safe, functional, and clean STEM lab
  • Maintain inventory of STEM materials, equipment, and robotics kits
  • Plan and lead enrichment activities, including after-school programs, workshops, clubs, and STEM-related competitions
  • Advise students on STEM careers and college pathways
  • Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary STEM curricula
  • Organize and coordinate special STEM events, competitions, and activities
  • Stay up to date with STEM trends, research, and professional development
