We are looking for aSoftware DeveloperII to join our IT team. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Saskatoon, SK. There are 2 vacancies.

As a Software Developer II, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining applications that support the Bank's strategic and operational objectives. This role directly contributes to the full development lifecycle - from analysis and design to coding, testing, and documentation - while ensuring solutions are secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational standards.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze and evaluate new applications and modifications to existing systems.
  • Develop secure, clean, and efficient code based onspecificationsand established standards.
  • Document code, system components, and technical processesin accordance withthe Bank's guidelines.
  • Create unit tests and test plans, execute testing, and review results for quality assurance.
  • Prepare technical designs that account for performance, scalability, security, control, backup, recovery, and audit requirements.
  • Provide operational support on an as-needed basis, including troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, external support teams, endusersand internal team members to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field.
  • 3+yearsofexperienceinfull cycle software development.
  • Proficient inC# or similarobject-orientedprogramming languages and .NET.
  • Experience with Angular (or a similar modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework)
  • Demonstrated understanding of database architectures andproficiencyin SQL.
  • Working knowledge of Git for source control; experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tooling is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Docker/containerized development environments is an asset.
  • Demonstrated understanding of web application development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and foundational cyber security concepts.
  • Knowledge of common cyber security risks and practical techniques for risk mitigation.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with an ability to clearlypresentsfindingsand recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter who is highly organized and able to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with Django is preferred.
