Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary:
The strategic and innovative Principal Product Manager will define the vision and product direction for key capabilities within our Sourcing Intelligence portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of AI, data, and Sourcing and Merchant operations, and will help shape how Walmart turns fragmented information into enterprise intelligence that improves decision-making, reduces risk, and drives business value at scale. You will own the long-term product vision and define how data, insights, workflows, agents, and MCPs come together to support sourcing decisions across the enterprise. You will set priorities and identify where AI and automation can create meaningful impact.

The team drives innovation at the intersection of data, AI, and sourcing operations, transforming complex information into actionable intelligence that improves decision-making across cost, availability, and risk. In partnership with engineering, data science, design, and business stakeholders, the team defines and delivers product strategies that enable more proactive, scalable, and efficient sourcing capabilities. Through data-driven solutions and emerging technologies, the team helps the business act faster, strengthen resilience, and generate measurable cost savings and operational impact.
What you'll do:
  •  Own the vision and roadmap for sourcing intelligence capabilities that support cost, commodity, supplier, and item decisions.
  • Define how data, insights, workflows, agents, and automation come together to support sourcing decisions.
  • Partner with engineering, data science, design, and business teams to deliver scalable, AI-enabled solutions across markets.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into clear product direction, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Drive alignment, communication, and continuous improvement through feedback, metrics, and product artifacts.


What you'll bring:
  • 7+ years of product management experience leading complex enterprise or platform products.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience applying AI/ML, LLMs, intelligent agents, and data products to solve business problems at scale.
  • Proven ability to define and scale enterprise products across multiple teams and functions.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, including semantic layers, pipelines, governance, and analytics.
  • Experience leading through ambiguity with clarity, structure, and momentum.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence technical and business audiences.
  • Track record of driving measurable business impact through outcome-focused product execution.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
