Job Title: Junior Manufacturing Engineer Location: New Orleans, LA 70129 Area Code: 504 Pay Rate: $32.00-36.00/hour Shift: 1st Employment Type: Direct, Full Benefits #AerospaceJobs #EntryLevelEngineer #ManufacturingEngineering Job Summary: Belcan is hiring manufacturing engineers through our Academic to Industry (A2I) program. These roles offer immersive, hands-on experience in a complex aerospace manufacturing environment, supported by a senior engineering team mentor. Key Responsibilities: * Participate in hands-on training and mentorship from experienced engineers. * Assist in developing and executing manufacturing work instructions and documentation. * Learn and apply industry-standard manufacturing systems and processes. * Support shop floor operations and address day-to-day production challenges. * Report and assist in resolving quality and non-conformance issues. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar). * Recent graduate with 0-1 years of professional experience (including internships) * Eagerness to learn technical manufacturing engineering concepts and tools. * Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. * Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment. * Due to the nature of the work ship required Preferred Qualifications: * Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or aerospace setting. * Exposure to CAD tools (Catia, NX, SolidWorks) in academic or project settings. * Familiarity with basic quality assurance or production engineering practices. * Active involvement in academic engineering projects or organizations.
