Job Summary
Cadence is seeking an AI & Strategic Marketing Intern to support market intelligence, competitive analysis, strategic research, and AI-enabled business workflows. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or advanced undergraduate student interested in applying AI technologies to real-world business challenges while gaining exposure to strategy, emerging technologies, M&A analysis, and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
-Experiment and test different AI models and workflow options to identify effective ways to improve research and analysis.
-Build AI workflows that use AI's strengths effectively, and apply techniques such as few-shot prompting, RAG, and other methods to improve accuracy, reasoning, and results.
-Support market research and competitive intelligence projects across technology sectors relevant to Cadence.
-Develop market overviews, competitive landscape summaries, and presentations on new growth opportunities.
-Gather and combine information from industry reports, company announcements, analyst research, and other public sources.
-Support AI-enabled automation for M&A due diligence workflows, including company research, competitive positioning, and synthesis of diligence materials.
-Assist in preparing executive presentations, briefing materials, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
Qualifications
Required:
-Bachelor's degree completed or in progress, with at least three years of undergraduate experience, in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Interest in AI, technology trends and inflection points, and business strategy.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
-Familiarity with generative AI tools and large language models.
-Experience using AI tools through coursework, projects, research, internships, co-ops, or hackathons.
-Interest in semiconductor technology, AI, robotics, or other advanced technology industries.
-Experience creating presentations and conducting research.
