This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Pee Dee Mental Health Center, 125 E. Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506.

As the Program Manager II, working under general supervision of the Executive Director, you will provide oversight and manage units, programs, or systems of the Pee Dee Mental Health Center that have a significant impact upon agency or state operations. Responsibilities for the Program Manager: Serve as second in command and serve as person in charge when the Executive Director is absent. Serve asa member of the Center's Executive Leadership Team and collaborates with Executive Director with day-to-day operations, scheduled projects and special projects.

Oversight of Center's benchmarks and reports. Ensure compliance with BHDD/OMH/Center Initiatives and benchmarks/standards are met for Productivity Measures, Access to Services, Caseloads, Dormant Clients, Client Outcome Measures. Quality Assurance and Accreditation, Customer Service, Cultural Competence and Corporate Compliance.

Supervise the Center's Quality Improvement Department, which includes Quality Assurance, Training, Corporate Compliance, Credentialing, CARF, Internships, MCO Prior Authorizations, Patient Engagement and Patient Advocacy, Management of Community Integration Services (Community Supportive Housing Program), Silver Years, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Individual Placement Services, Peer Support, Homeshare, Highway to Hope (H2H), Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (MHP. Work with Executive Director and coordinate projects/programs to address the needs of the community. Attend legislative, public and advocacy group hearings.

Meet with citizens to discuss their concerns. Facilitate and participate in Staff Development training for the Center. Provide training to Community Stakeholders as needed.

Direct appropriate implementation of personnel practices and procedures, ensure documentation is met. Serve on a variety of Committees as prescribed by the Executive Director. Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience.

A master's degree in guidance, supervisory experience or the social sciences and five (5) year of professional post-master's experience. Licensed in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or any other Social Science field. Preferred Qualifications Four (4) years' experience working with children, adolescents and families.

Excellent therapeutic skills in working with children, adolescents and their families. Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus. Additional Comments Post hire, employee must: Have knowledge of an agency's mission, programs, objectives and management principles.

Have knowledge of agency's organizational structure, the people who manage the work and the processes applicable to government work. Have the ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations. Have the ability to manage work and provide guidance to employees.

Have the ability to make presentations and prepare reports. Have the ability to work with independence.
