Job description

Overview

Location: McKinney, TX, United States

Role Type: Onsite

Eligibility: U.S. citizen and qualified for a DoD Secret Security Clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. This position requires an active and existing security clearance after day1.

Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.

Responsibilities
  • Designing digital and analog circuits.
  • Testing electronic hardware.
  • Operating and automating test equipment in a laboratory environment.
  • Analyzing, modeling, and simulating electronic designs.
  • Performing component selection for electronic designs.
  • Providing layout and routing support of printed circuit boards.
Qualifications – Must Have
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related STEM major.
  • 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
Qualifications – Preferred
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Digital, analog, and/or power electronics coursework.
  • Lab experience with hardware/software integration, test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, and sensor control.
  • Demonstrated experience with VHDL or Verilog coding, simulation, and synthesis.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.
