The Need

For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the workto protectvulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM's Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% forvery largepopulations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seekingPartnershipsInterns & Fellows.

In seeking justice for the vulnerable, IJM partners with churches whichdesireto bring justice, hope, and restoration to victims and survivors of violence. Partnerships Interns and Fellows will support IJM national staff by building community involvement and engaging with the people of God.Depending on your level of experience, your role may involve some of the following responsibilities as well as other relevant duties assigned by the Field Office Director or Supervisor.

• Secure opportunities for IJM to conduct training for churches, communityleadersand the generalpopulation;

• Develop and deliver sound theological messages on the biblical call of justice tochurches;

• Network/develop key relationships with denominational leaders, civicleadersandpastors;

• Work with existing partnerships in your fieldoffice;

• Track monthly targets andmaintainreportingdashboard;

• Maintain promotional materials,inventoryandledger;

• Provide administrative support to the department; and

• Other departmental supportasneeded.

Positions may be available in:Accra, Ghana; Bucharest, Romania; Lima, Peru; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Jakarta, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand; Manila, Philippines.Not every position will be available in every office.

Program duration is 12 months, from January 2027 - December 2027.

Internship General Qualifications and Required Skills

• Bachelor'sdegree;

• Organizational and administrativeskills;

• Attention todetail;

• Knowledge of Microsoft software and Windows strongly preferred; and

• Fluency in Spanishrequiredfor Latin America offices.

Fellowship General Qualifications and Required Skills

• Three or more years of relevant professional experience and/or a graduate degree;

• Prior work experience withchurches;

• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook,PowerPointandWindows XP;

• Experience networking with International and National NGO's, CBO's, faith-basedcommunitiesand local government; and

• Fluency in Spanishrequiredfor Latin America offices.

As volunteers, interns and fellows receive a monthly stipend to help defray their expenses related toparticipatingin the internship program. This volunteer stipend is not an hourly wage, nor wages paid for services provided by the intern or fellow.

*What is a statement of faith?
A statement of faith should describe your Christian faith and how you see it as relevant to your involvement with IJM.The statement can either be incorporated into the cover letter orsubmittedas a separate document and should include, at a minimum, a description of your spiritual disciplines (prayer, study, etc.) and your current fellowship or place of worship.
