About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Programmer Analyst to provide technical leadership, application development expertise, and project coordination for critical business systems and client solutions. Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Solution Development
  • Design, develop, and implement system enhancements, modifications, and new application functionality to support business and client objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership for assigned projects and implementations, guiding development teams through all phases of delivery.
  • Develop and review technical designs, program specifications, and system documentation.
  • Assist with coding, testing, debugging, and implementation activities to ensure project success and on-time delivery.
  • Design reliable, scalable, and efficient application solutions that meet operational and performance requirements.
Project Management & Client Support
  • Coordinate development activities with business stakeholders, project requestors, and internal teams.
  • Develop project estimates, resource requirements, and implementation plans for assigned initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of professional COBOL programming experience.
  • 5+ years of progressively complex software development and project delivery experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring development teams.
  • Experience developing, testing, and supporting both online and batch applications.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and programming best practices.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Tandem/HP NonStop environments.
  • Proficiency with Tandem utility programs and associated development tools.
  • Experience modifying and developing SCOBOL online applications.
  • Experience supporting business-critical financial, transaction-processing, or enterprise systems.
