Job description

Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at R & M Machine Shop, Inc. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing precision components using advanced machining techniques. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining processes.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

  • At least ten years experience as a CNC Machinist with 5 axis.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
