Job description

Woodworking Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Woodworking Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring woodworking machinery to ensure products consistently meet quality and production standards.

Operators will receive daily job assignments and work instructions from supervisors or team leads, gather necessary tools and materials, and safely operate equipment such as Moulders, Tenoners, Woodeye machines, CNC machines, Profile Sanders, and Lathes. Employees are responsible for inspecting products throughout production, completing production and timekeeping documentation, and reporting equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.

Additional responsibilities include performing basic preventative maintenance, maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards, assisting with training new operators, supporting team members, and helping in other departments as needed.

Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of woodworking machine operation, machine setup, or programming experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
