Job description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to  maintain and enhance our network infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable network operations while increasingly contributing to the planning, design, and optimization of our environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on network experience and is eager to grow into a more strategic role, making recommendations, improving performance, and helping shape the future state of our network with guidance and, over time, greater independence.

This role will be onsite 5 days per week in our City of Industry, CA office.

At this time, we are not able to support new employment-based visa sponsorships due to current business needs and resource limitations. Should our sponsorship capabilities change in the future, we will update our process accordingly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Monitor, maintain, and support network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks, while contributing to the end-to-end deployment of firewall solutions, including configuration, testing, and rollout .
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions with guidance as needed.
  • Contribute to the planning, design, and optimization of network infrastructure, recommending improvements to performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Assist with network upgrades, deployments, and configuration changes across multiple locations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support  and optimize network performance and reliability
  • Help implement and maintain network security measures, including access controls and monitoring tools
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes
  • Support capacity planning and performance monitoring to ensure optimal network operation
  • Participate in testing and validation (UAT) for new network tools, systems, and infrastructure updates
  • Balance day-to-day operational support with increasing ownership of design-focused initiatives, progressing toward limited supervision
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network administration
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching
  • Experience working with network hardware and platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet,  Meraki, or Palo Alto
  • Solid understanding of network security concepts and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability or strong interest in network design, optimization, and performance improvement
  • Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise environments is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Active  Involvement of network design or architecture initiatives
  • Exposure to cloud networking (e.g., Azure, GCP, Oracle)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, Network+) preferred
  • Familiarity with automation or scripting for network management (e.g., Python, Ansible)
  • Must be located in California.
