Slifco Electric
is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors. We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations.
We are looking for a Class A CDL Truck Driver to safely and timely transportation material to and from job sites, while also supporting warehouse operations when deliveries are not in progress. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency across projects by ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Utilize hi/lo and/or forklifts when appropriate
  • Monitor vehicle condition, including fluids and systems, and log routine check
  • Maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exterior
  • Complete deliveries and pick-ups in a safe and timely manner
    • Using a 53' Conestoga, dry van, 26' box truck, or 26' stake truck
  • Properly secure and strap loads to prevent shifting during transit
  • Maintain accurate and compliant driver logs as required by law
  • Assist with warehouse operations when deliveries are not scheduled
  • Support general clean-up and organization

What We're Looking For:
  • Class A Commercial Driver License required
  • 3+ years of commercial driving experience
  • Experience driving a 53' Conestoga
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Ability to lift and move materials with or without assistance
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
