You'll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America. What to expect as a Production Intern at Tombras:
Commitment to a 8.5 week, paid internship of $18 an hour starting on 9/23/26 and ending on 11/20/26 with a maximum of 25 hours per week.
What you'll be doing:
  • Assist producers with research, scheduling, casting, and location scouting
  • Assist producers with administrative duties of the department, booking crews, talent agency outreach, answering calls/emails, arranging travel, making photocopies, ordering equipment, and maintaining production supplies
  • Assist producers and project managers on logistics for studio and location shoots
  • Provide general assistance during shoots in the studio and on location as a Production Assistant (PA); Tasks may include setting up areas for prop or food stylists, client areas, pulling props, assisting the art department, being on-camera talent, assisting talent and freelance crew during arrival/departure, taking lunch orders, and cleaning up with the crew during wrap
  • Assist in the creation of various documents, files, orders, budgets, scripts, and research material
  • Take notes during creative and pre-production meetings
  • Assist with logistics during the shoot week
  • Provide daily support to production leads
  • Complete special projects as needed or requested

What you bring:
  • Candidates should have prior work or life experience in a relevant field, be currently enrolled as a Senior in a Bachelor's program, or a recent graduate with a major in Media, Marketing, Advertising, or similar field (a degree is not required)
  • 1+ years of experience working with or studying video, photography, or editing
  • Must have an independent spirit, entrepreneurial attitude, and a drive for innovation
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with the production team including producers, directors, and creatives both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and keep a team on schedule
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player who genuinely enjoys working with others
  • Must have a positive attitude and encourage collaboration
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Proficiency in various social media platforms
  • Must have a driver's license and reliable car
