  • Coordinate minor construction, tenant improvement, and small capital projects across the CSULA campus.
  • Work directly with trades personnel (plumbers, movers, electricians, etc.) to understand scope, sequence tasks, and ensure proper execution.
  • Assist M&O by communicating with trades, clarifying work requirements, and confirming the order of operations for each project.
  • Schedule and coordinate dates, access, and logistics for project activities.
  • Provide onsite presence to offer guidance, answer questions, and support field execution.
  • Help develop and refine process workflows, including integration and use of a Work Order system.
  • Track project progress, identify issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Support documentation, reporting, and communication between CSULA Facilities, stakeholders, and trade partners.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities construction, or related project coordination roles.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field coordination, and trade interactions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, including trades, campus staff, and project managers.
  • Experience coordinating smallscale construction or improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with work order systems; such as WebTMA or Maximo are a plus.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic campus environment.
  • Ability to be onsite regularly and engage directly with field personnel.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with strong relevant experience.
