About the Role:
Emerald Coast Bread Company is looking for a hardworking and passionate Morning Baker / Delivery Driver to join our team in Pensacola, FL. This dual-role position is perfect for an early riser who loves the craft of baking and takes pride in getting fresh, delicious products into the hands of our customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and enjoy hitting the open road, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake fresh breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Manage morning production schedules to ensure all products are baked, packaged, and ready for delivery on time
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and proofing stations
  • Load and organize delivery vehicle with accuracy, ensuring all orders are complete and properly packaged
  • Deliver baked goods to local businesses, restaurants, and retail partners along assigned routes
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bakery workspace in compliance with food safety standards
  • Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and represent the brand with a positive attitude
Requirements:
  • Prior baking, food production, or culinary experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work early morning hours, typically starting before dawn
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet time-sensitive production and delivery deadlines
