Job Summary
The successful candidate will contribute to an active research program in biomedical engineering, with emphasis on nanomedicine, genome editing, and cancer immunotherapy. Primary responsibilities will include planning and designing experiments, generating and analyzing complex experimental data, preparing manuscripts, and contributing to research grant applications. Additional responsibilities will include mentoring and training graduate students in experimental design, operation of specialized scientific equipment, data analysis, and scientific writing.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates with strong experience in nanomedicine, genome editing, cancer immunotherapy, biomaterials, drug/gene delivery, correlated areas are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should also have strong written and oral communication skills, a record of research productivity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
The candidate will need to provide a curriculum vitae, a cover letter, a research statement (Specific Request 1) and the names of three references (Specific Request 2)
