Job description

Description
BigIron is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Media Buyer to join our marketing team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position will support the planning, execution, and measurement of digital advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
The Junior Media Buyer will help set up campaigns, monitor performance, maintain campaign information, prepare reports, and make routine updates based on established strategies. This role provides an opportunity to develop hands-on experience with digital advertising, campaign management, and marketing analytics.
The position will support marketing efforts across BigIron's agricultural, construction, transportation, and collector equipment markets.
This is an hourly hybrid role based out of our Omaha office.
Essential Functions
  • Assist with building, launching, and managing digital advertising campaigns across paid search, display, social media, and other digital channels.
  • Assist with media buying activities, including coordinating placements, tracking deliverables, and communicating with advertising partners.
  • Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 and advertising platform dashboards.
  • Review campaign data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Make routine campaign updates to budgets, bids, targeting, and creative under established direction.
  • Prepare regular campaign performance reports using metrics such as click-through rate, conversion rate, and cost per acquisition.
  • Assist with audience targeting and segmentation based on established marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with marketing and internal teams to ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule.
  • Ensure advertising campaigns and creative materials align with current promotions and auction schedules.
  • Track campaign timelines, deliverables, and related documentation.
  • Maintain organized campaign records and performance information.
  • Support the marketing team with additional digital advertising and campaign-related projects as needed.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in digital marketing, media buying, advertising, or related field (internships applicable).
• Strong interest in paid digital marketing and advertising
• Analytical mindset and curiosity around data and performance
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable learning new tools, platforms, and systems
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• Background or interest in agriculture, construction, or rural markets strongly preferred
