Registered Nurse - Acute Behavioral Health
Schedule
This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week from 06:45 to 19:15, with weekend hours required every other weekend.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Acute Behavioral Health unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong de-escalation skills and a passion for providing exceptional care to patients in a challenging environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the behavioral health setting.
  • Implement de-escalation techniques and ensure patient safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Participate in patient assessments and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health.
  • Valid RN license and ADN required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current CPI, NVCI, or HWC certification is required.
