Description & RequirementsBloomberg Opinion is seeking a Vertical Video Producer and Editor for a 12 month contract role based in Washington D.C. to join our global team of columnists and editors. We're looking for a social-minded video journalist to work with our US columnists in all aspects of the editorial process – from idea generation and script writing to directing video shoots and post-production. You’ll bring dazzling ideas for opening hooks, an eye for great visuals, a competitive spirit, strong news judgment and an irrepressible excitement for what’s happening in social video and how we can develop our audience. You will also bring in skills as a live stream producer to curate and coordinate regular live webinars broadcast on Bloomberg Opinion’s social channels from X to TikTok.
This is a hybrid role that would involve flexibility to regularly conduct video shoots in and around Bloomberg’s DC bureau.
Salary Range = 50- 57 USDHourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
