The Opportunity
Cenergistic is seeking a degreed Engineer to support HVAC systems, building automation, and energy performance initiatives. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer eager to learn, contribute, and grow under experienced mentorship.
What You'll Do
  • Support development and implementation of energy conservation standards and best practices.
  • Assist with HVAC, mechanical, and BAS system optimization efforts.
  • Review control strategies and sequences of operation under guidance.
  • Analyze HVAC and BAS data to identify performance opportunities.
  • Support commissioning and measurement & verification activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and client stakeholders.
  • Assist with technical reports and performance analysis.
  • Participate in training and mentorship programs.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
  • Travel: 5-8%.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • 0-2 years of experience or relevant internships.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and thermodynamics.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT certification or progress toward FE exam.
  • Internship experience in HVAC or building systems.
