Job description

Visit Pensacola is seeking a reliable, adaptable, and resilient leader to serve as the new President & CEO.

Visit Pensacola is the official destination marketing organization for Escambia County, representing Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, and Perdido Key. As America’s First Settlement, founded in 1559, and home to the #1 beach in the U.S., as voted by Condé Nast Traveler readers, the Pensacola Bay Area blends more than 465 years of history with nearly 40 miles of sugar-white sand and emerald Gulf waters. Visit Pensacola is responsible for building tourism as a key economic driver for Escambia County through destination marketing, visitor inspiration, and supporting the local hospitality community.

The President & CEO directs and leads the Destination Organization toward its mission of supporting the community vision of tourism by serving as the central body responsible for building tourism as an economic engine for our community. Works directly with the Board on policy making and strategy for the organization.

Visit Pensacola is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization, a trade association with an operating budget of $11 million, primarily comprised of funds from the tourist development tax (95%) and outside private revenue (5%). There is a professional staff of 14 full‑time employees plus 8 part‑time employees. Visit Pensacola is governed by an 11‑member Board of Directors comprised of members elected by the membership.
